How It Works

The Stack Stylist signature package is full-service Substack newsletter creation, writing, and management. It’s more than just ghostwriting - it’s getting your stories, in your voice, on a new platform, as well as ensuring alignment with your overall brand strategy. Let Paisley do the writing while you do the hustling.

  • The first step is to get to know you on a personal level. In a 20-minute introductory call, we’ll cover:

    • your business and/or personal brand

    • how substack works and how it can elevate your online presence

    • how the author will convey ideas for production (ex: voice notes, written notes, tiktok/reel re-purposing, etc.).

    • pricing & overall strategy

  • Once you are signed on, we will schedule another call to go deeper with your goals and Substack strategy. This phase will include:

    • understanding your business and/or personal brand and existing marketing

    • discussing content themes, branding, and subscription tiers

    • identifying your writing voice and how content is conveyed before being written

    • agreeing on logistics such as content review and posting timelines

  • After our call, I will design your Substack website for your review and approval. Substack websites usually include:

    • designated pages directing readers to your website and offerings

    • author/company biography and links to other social media spaces and offerings

    • technical set-up for domain(s), privacy settings, etc.

    • custom content for buttons, calls to action, automatic confirmations, and more.

  • My Substack styling is highly personal - it is tailored to your goals and written as if you are behind the screen. The lifecycle of a post may look like the following:

    • client provides article ideas through voice notes, written notes, re-purposed videos etc., or I conceptualize all content for you

    • I write and style an article in your tone, and include imagery, links, etc.

    • client reviews and provides approval and/or edits

    • articles are posted on an agreed timeline

  • Substacks are not just for writing alone - they exist to also create a community beyond your in-person or direct clients. Our work may include the following upon request:

    • engaging with Substack’s community through notes, follows, and discussion

    • additional newsletters such as article batch round-ups, promotions, and more

    • coordinating & monitoring a subscriber chat room

    • media production such as podcast/audio uploading

What is Substack?

Substack is a writing platform with both blogging and social elements. Creators and businesses produce newsletters that send content directly to their subscribers’s inboxes, and can also include features like podcasts, videos, chat rooms, and subscription tiers. Substack is free to join and many businesses are transitioning their e-mail newsletters to Substack to take advantage.

What is your pricing?

Prices are not published because they are customized to each client’s needs. For instance, a client who does not want to be involved at all will have different pricing than someone who wants to handle part of the project themselves, or who needs me to pick up an already-existing Substack page.

Can you help existing Substack users?

Yes! The full-service package can be modified to meet any client’s current needs, including those who need help with maintenance.
